Homework Policy
Homework should be expected four nights a week. Students will have the opportunity the next class to ask questions about their homework. After we have gone over the homework, it cannot be turned in late. In accordance with new school guidelines, an alternative assignment will be given to students who did not do the homework. This alternative assignment will have a maximum score of 75/100. Homework grade will be determined in an appropriate manner for the assignment that was given.
Make-up Work Policy
1. Students are responsible for turning in assignments that were due on the day of your absence.
2. Students have as many days as you were absent to make up the homework and classwork.
(See student agenda page 16)
3. Students are responsible for asking to make up quizzes and tests in a timely manner. The class after a test is usually not a good day because they will be missing instruction on the next chapter.
4. Students are expected to speak with me before class starts are the day of their return in order to receive missed work. I will not track down students who missed work.
